Renee G. [5.0star rating] 9/23/2018 Allison is, in my opinion, as good as it gets. Of course the most important skill you want in a hairdresser is talent. Not to worry, she is loaded with talent. But its the extra lengths she goes to that makes her outstanding. She is extremely knowledgeable, and happy to share that knowledge with you. She looks at you, asks the appropriate questions, and "gets" what you are looking for and then executes. Oh, I forgot to mention how pleasant and easy the whole experience it. No muss, no fuss, just a great cut/color at a reasonable price... and then you can go about your day. Mary V. She listened to my needs and concerns....she made an effort to get to know me and to understand my lifestyle, and she looked very carefully at my hair. She then expressed her vision for me and I knew right away that I was going to get a good haircut and color from her. I walked out 3 hours later with the best color/cut/style I've experienced in a decade. I highly recommend her. She did exactly what I needed....not only because she's highly trained, but because she truly thought about me as a whole person rather than just another paying head of hair. Marcy Byrd I have been having my hair styled by Allison for over two years and she can do it all. She has cut my hair both long and short, curly (Ouidad) and straight (Brazilian Blowout)! She is a master with color. I’ve had her do both balayage and highlights (and of course touch ups of my roots.) I like trying new things and Allison always helps me to find a great look. I drive over an hour each way to her salon because there is no one else I would trust my hair to. Love you Allison. See you soon. Ibrahim Ali I first took my very curly-haired daughter to Allison for a Ouidad cut - and now we both go to her! She makes sure from the beginning that we know and will like what she's doing, and ensures that we're happy with our new hair, and also that we understand what to do to keep it looking that great. Never have I had a stylist really teach me what to do with my curls, let alone how to get them (almost) as good as she does! She addresses what you want, don't want, and any hair problems you have. Saw an old friend whose curly hair looked better than I'd ever seen it and finally acted on the referral. It was obvious from the first appt that Allison was a top professional. She STUDIED my face and hair, we talked about how much effort I was willing to put into it on a daily basis, she made suggestions for what would look best, took into consideration my feelings about those suggestions --- we've been doing that for almost a year now and I'm happier than I've ever been with the way my hair is cut - and I still run out with it wet! Allison strikes me as one of those people that, whatever she does, she will only do it well. Allison combines great listening and creativity with superior design and technical skills.
